Bilingual news: The Oxford English Dictionary has named "vape" - the word used for drawing on an electronic cigarette instead of a conventional one - as its 2014 Word of the Year. "You are 30 times more likely to come across the word 'vape' than you were two years ago, and usage has more than doubled in the past year," editors of the dictionary said on Monday.

Culture: Actor Zhang Jinlai, better known by his stage name Liu Xiao Ling Tong and for his portrayal of the Monkey King in the 1986 television series Journey to the West, is heading a campaign to get the show entered in Guinness World Records for the most broadcast and highest rated television series.
