Subway line poised to link key rail stations
A subway line linking the capital's two major railway stations is expected to open on Dec 26 and play a significant role in easing traffic jams, Beijing News reported. The 9.15-km line will connect Beijing Railway Station and Beijing West Railway Station, and it will take trains less than 10 minutes to complete the journey. Work on the project began in December 2005.
