Bryant achieves career milestone

Kobe Bryant scored 28 points and passed the 32,000-point mark for his NBA career on Tuesday, sparking the visiting Los Angeles Lakers to a 114-109 win over the Atlanta Hawks. The Lakers, who snapped a four-game losing streak, recorded their first road triumph of the season and only their second triumph in 11 starts while the Hawks fell to 5-5 with their first loss in five home games. Bryant, who leads the league in scoring, drained 10 of 18 shots and added four rebounds, three assists and a steal for the Lakers, capping his night with a 3-pointer on his final shot to reach 32,001.
