By Li Fusheng | China Daily | Updated: 2014-11-20 07:16

Allianz Global Assistance is exploring new ways to better serve car owners in China as the world's largest auto market embraces the digital age.

"We are at the turning point where we need to innovate and digitalize to go one step further in client service as we continue leading in roadside assistance," said Christophe Aniel, Allianz Global Assistance's CEO for China and North Asia.

AGA came to China in 2003 as the pioneer of the country's auto assistance industry. It now has an 80 percent market share, 800 employees and nearly 10,000 service partners who manage about 1.5 million cases every year.
