Photos of slain wife shared on WeChat

A 24-year-old man from Anhui province stood trial on Monday in the death of his wife of two months, Beijing Times reported. Ge Yifeng lived in a rented home of his parents-in-law in Daxing district but did not get along with his wife and mother-in-law, who were also from his home province. On April 27, during a fight with his wife, he allegedly stabbed her to death with scissors. As his relatives did not believe he had killed his wife, he allegedly took photos of her body and sent them through the instant messaging platform WeChat.
