Beijing Metro: Fifteen uniformed security guards riding blue bicycles are patrolling the downtown area of Beijing's Huairou district to improve security for the APEC meetings being held there through Tuesday. The bicycle patrol, established in May, mainly deals with emergencies with the help of the district's police officers, and also mediates disputes among residents, according to Beijing Public Security Bureau.
