Mainlanders' visits to Taiwan surpass 10 million since 2008
Visits of Chinese mainlanders to Taiwan have surpassed 10 million since the Taiwan tourism market opened to mainland tourists in 2008, latest data showed. From 2008 to Thursday, mainland tourists to Taiwan who booked with travel agencies totaled nearly 8.3 million, while travels made by individuals from the mainland reached 1.72 million, according to the data from the China National Tourism Administration.
