Customer with fake license damages test car

A man in Nanjing was recently ordered by a court to compensate a Porsche dealer with 880,000 yuan ($144,000) for the damage he caused during a test drive, Yangtze Evening News reported on Wednesday. The man, surnamed Qian, drove a Porsche Cayenne to the dealer last year for a service, and while there test-drove a brand-new Carrera priced at more than 1.74 million yuan. He seriously damaged the car in an accident he caused. The dealer's insurance claim was denied because Qian's driver's license turned out to be fake. In addition, the dealer had to pay 100,000 yuan for negligence in checking Qian's papers.
