Ronaldo writing his own legacy

By Agence France-Presse in Madrid | China Daily | Updated: 2014-11-07 08:23

World Player of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo believes he will be considered one of the greatest soccer players of all time by the time he retires.

On Wednesday the 29-year-old picked up the third Golden Boot award of his career for being the top scorer in Europe last season and he is also the odds-on favorite to win the Ballon d'Or for a third time in January.

And, while insisting he still has plenty of years at the top left in him, the Portuguese is confident his place among the game's all-time greats is assured.
