Canadians warm to beauty of Tibet

The 2014 Canada China Tibetan Culture Week arrived in Toronto on Wednesday, offering the largest city in Canada a rare chance to appreciate the beauty of Tibet's landscape and unique culture.

The welcoming reception was followed by a screening of the film Roof of the World at the Bell Lightbox, home of the Toronto International Film Festival.

The film features Tibet's vast landscape and people, and showcases the challenges of modernization on a traditional society.
