Father who sold sonfor $13,000 gets prison

A 27-year-old father was sentenced to five years in prison for selling his illegitimate son for 80,000 yuan ($13,000) to a woman surnamed Wang, Beijing Youth Daily reported on Tuesday. The father put notices online to sell the baby at prices ranging from 50,000 yuan to 80,000 yuan. He picked Wang from more than 100 potential buyers because she offered the highest price.
