Sales volume achieved last year by Tmall and Taobao, the online shopping platforms of Alibaba - China's largest e-commerce company and the original promoter of the online shopping frenzy on Nov 11, or Singles' Day. The 2013 sales volume was an 83 percent year-on-year increase, and this year's Singles' Day is expected to see even higher sales, with easier access to foreign brands.
