By An Baijie | China Daily | Updated: 2014-11-03 07:38

China's top legislature dismissed six lawmakers and accepted the resignation of three others on Saturday amid the ongoing anti-graft campaign.

All of the six dismissed lawmakers were suspected of breaking the law, and two of the officials were suspected in bribery cases, according to a communique released by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.

Su Rong, former vice-chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference National Committee, the country's top political advisory body, is the highest ranking of the dismissed NPC deputies.
