By Xinhua in Paris | China Daily | Updated: 2014-11-01 07:41

Andy Murray confirmed a berth at the ATP World Tour Finals next month in London with a convincing win over Grigor Dimitrov on Thursday, while third seed Stan Wawrinka failed to reach the BNP Paribas Masters quarterfinals along with a French trio.

Murray who is currently ranked world No 8, took little more than an hour to sweep No 9 Dimitrov 6-3, 6-3 in an impressive way.

The 27-year-old Scot broke serve in the third game before sealing the first set with a second break of serve.
