Killer of 2-year-old has been executed

A court announced that the convicted killer of a 2-year-old girl was executed on Friday. Han Lei, 40, who claimed to be intoxicated at the time, was arguing with the child's mother over a parking space in the capital's Daxing district on July 23 last year when he grabbed the girl and threw her to the ground. He fled the scene but was arrested the next day. The girl sustained severe injuries and died days later.
