Zhejiang leads charity stakes

Home to many private enterprises, Zhejiang province has been taking the lead in promoting corporate social responsibility. The number of enterprises based in the province that have issued CSR reports rose to 152 in 2013, from only two in 2007. "Zhejiang released guidelines to support CSR in 2008 and established a CSR promotion association," said Shi Limin, a provincial official.
