Kyung-bae Suh grew up watching his grandmother and father developing cosmetic products.
"When my grandmother started a hair oil business in Gaesong (now in the Democratic People's Republic Korea), all she cared about was whether her wholesale dealers were happy with their business and whether they valued and appreciated our products," said the 51-year-old chairman and CEO of AmorePacific Group, the leading beauty and health company in the Republic of Korea.
Her values had a profound influence on Kyung-bae Suh, who led the company to become Asia's third-largest skin care products maker after joining the family business in 1987.
