More pets means growing demand for groomers

Pet grooming services are in high demand as increasing numbers of loving pet owners lavish attention on their animals.

With growing demand has come a growing shortage of talent for grooming services in several cities, according to Zhang Xiaofeng, vice-secretary of the China Animal Agriculture Association National Kennel Club.

"We do not have the number of pet groomers we need," he said, "but pet grooming is definitely a booming industry."
