Festival Special: Business embraces art at Swiss bank UBS

UBS AG, the largest bank in Switzerland, celebrated the 11th anniversary as the sponsor of the Beijing Music Festival with a range of community activities and a performance by pianist Li Yundi.

As part of the ongoing music festival, the world-renowned pianist gave a recital at the capital city's historic St. Joseph's Church, widely known as Wangfujing Church, on Oct 16.

Before the recital, UBS hosted a range of music-related fringe activities outside the church for some 50 disadvantaged and underprivileged students from UBS China's charity partners - China Friendship Foundation for Peace and Development, Beijing Green and Shine Charity Foundation, and China Foundation for Disabled Persons.
