Wang wowed by tigerish enthusiasm

Coach Ed Wang is something of a football god to his fledgling Shenyang Tigers.

The first player of full Chinese ancestry drafted into the National Football League, Wang was selected out of Virginia Tech by Buffalo in the fifth round of the 2010 draft and played left tackle for the Bills the following season.

At 6-foot-5 and 280 pounds, Wang dwarfs all of his neophyte charges on the China Arena Football League college squad, but his larger-than-life presence and intuitive teaching have had a calming influence.
