Companies paid off ex-transport bureau head to secure contracts

A former senior railway official was sentenced to death with a two-year reprieve on corruption charges on Friday.

Zhang Shuguang, ex-director of the former ministry of railways' transportation bureau, was also stripped of all political rights and all his personal property is to be confiscated, read the verdict of the Beijing Second Intermediate People's Court.
