Event raises funds for pupils

China Heli Mart, a Guizhou-based investment company, held a charity event on Sept 29 to raise funds for building school facilities and helping needy students. Several clients and suppliers of the company attended the event, which was held at a local primary school. About 70,000 yuan ($11,418) was raised from the company's employees and other patrons in a fortnight, said company officials.
