Federer 'hasn't thought about' eclipsing Djokovic as world No 1

Roger Federer insists he won't go out of his way to capture the coveted year-end world No 1 ranking, despite sealing back-to-back Masters wins in Shanghai on Sunday.

The third-ranked 33-year-old has returned to No 2 on the back of his run in Shanghai, where he beat Gilles Simon 7-6 (6), 7-6 (2) on Sunday for his fourth title of the year.
