Beasley signs with Shanghai
Forward Michael Beasley's NBA career never panned out like he or many others thought after he was drafted by Miami as the second overall pick in 2008. On Thursday his NBA career came to a halt when the 25-year-old was waived by the Memphis Grizzlies, but Beasley's playing career will continue after he signed to play for the Shanghai Sharks, the Chinese Basketball Association team owned by former Houston Rockets star Yao Ming.
