729 Party members punished for misconduct

As the central government continues its efforts to clean up officialdom, the Beijing anti-graft authority punished 729 Party members from January through September, according to a statement from the Central Discipline Inspection Commission on Thursday. Nine of the Party members punished were at bureau level, and 132 were at director or county level.
