The Sino-Germany Intergovernmental Consultations, the highest level of negotiations, were established in 2010. They are the only such intergovernmental consultation framework into which the Chinese government has entered with a foreign government.
First round: Berlin, June 2011
The two penned eight consensus agreements and signed nearly 20 deals worth $15 billion. Thirteen Chinese ministers and 10 German ministers attended the meeting.
