.The capital's anti-graft authority punished 729 Party members from January through September.
The Beijing Commission for Discipline Inspection filed 920 cases of misconduct against Party members over the same period - a year-on-year increase of 62.5 percent.
Among those punished, 104 people face prosecution. Nine of the Party members punished are officials at the bureau level, and 132 are directors or worked at the county level.
