Supervision upgradedon food, medicine

China's supervision system for food and medicine must be upgraded, said a notice from the State Council on Thursday. The supervision system should link central and local governments with the grassroots, and cover the whole undertaking of production, processing, circulation and consumption, the notice said. Regions slow to reform the supervision system must take solid measures and map out timetables.
