Gala for small-and medium-sized enterprises

China will redouble efforts to encourage more small-and medium-sized enterprises to export goods and invest overseas, according to an official with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

One of the key efforts is to introduce incentive measures for financing and intellectual property protection, said Tian Chuan, deputy director of the SME department at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

"Incentive measures such as offering export rebates, import and export credit and export credit insurance have helped boost the competitiveness of Chinese goods," said Tian.
