US jumps expert taking a leap of faith

Everything has been fine for Randall Huntington during his stay with the Chinese track and field team in Beijing - except for the air.
Huntington, an experienced United States coach who specializes in jumping events, is used to adapting to different cultures and environments while sharing his ideas around the world.
When he does not have an adequate translator, he passes on his theories through body language, and he is always willing to spend time acclimating to different environments. But without clean air? That is an issue for the native of Walled Lake, Michigan, who guided US jumper Mike Powell to the world record in 1991; one he still holds.
