Rampant Ronaldo not ready to rest

World Player of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo insists he has no intention of slowing down after firing 12 goals in his first eight appearances this season.

Ronaldo followed up his hat-trick in an 8-2 rout of Deportivo la Coruna last weekend with the third four-goal game of his career as the European champion continued its return to form with a 5-1 thrashing of Elche in midweek.

Real also received a boost as Barcelona dropped points for the first time this season against Malaga to cut its lead over Madrid to just four points.
