India's coaches punch in at the Games

By Associated Press in Incheon, South Korea | China Daily | Updated: 2014-09-26 07:04

Shiv Thapa could not hide his relief at the Asian Games boxing venue on Wednesday. Not because he had been awarded a walkover in his first bout - dodging punches was not the issue.

He was relieved just to have a coach in his corner during the competition.

For Thapa and the 12 other Indian boxers at Incheon, there hasn't been coaching support at international competition for close to two years.
