Experts: Develop 'our own' technology

Chinese enterprises should improve their independent study of core technologies to push the country's informatization to a higher level and guarantee State security, officials and specialists said on Wednesday.

The fact that core technologies in the nation's industries are shackled by other countries has not fundamentally changed, said Wang Xiujun, deputy director of the Cyberspace Administration of China.

China needs to adjust strategies on how to develop the core technologies and make a top-level information technology plan as soon as possible, she said.
