Program to offer free lunch
The second round of a special program, that seeks to offer free lunch to students living in rural areas of Guangdong province was launched on Sept 12. The program was sponsored by the Guangzhou Daily, World Dongguan Entrepreneurs Federation Club and other local enterprises. Xizhen Primary School, located in Yunan county, was the first school to get access to the free lunch program. More than 600 students from seven primary schools in Yunan county are able to get free lunches since the program began.
