Li meets with visiting Kazakh defense chief

Premier Li Keqiang met Serik Akhmetov, defense minister of Kazakhstan, in Beijing on Tuesday. Li said Sino-Kazakhstan relations have entered a new phase with comprehensive cooperation in a wide range of areas such as politics, the economy and the military. Akhmetov said Kazakhstan is willing to deepen cooperation with China in various fields, including military technology.
