Fashion show introduces array of Italian brands

A fashion show was held in Beijing recently to introduce 35 Italian brands to China. The brands include Mariapola, Lamperti, Officine Marini, Alessandro, Angelo Toma, Danive, Andrea Ventura, Le Fate, Leonora, Mary Claud, Raccosta, Denny and Mora. The organizer of the show, Quancheng Lianrun Business Management, says it will bring 35 more Italian brands to China next year. Alberto Bradanini, Italian ambassador in China, attended the show and says he wants Chinese customers to know that Italy offers ready-to-wear, reasonably priced items, in addition to high-end lines. "Many Italian fashion houses are family-run businesses, and they would like to enter the Chinese market," says Huang Hetian, managing director of Quancheng Lianrun. "We are committed to promoting them in the right way."
