Young artists

Ivy Art, a project to promote young talent, held its first show on Sept 13 for Chinese fine art graduates. The show, which runs until Oct 3, features about 100 artworks from 88 artists, covering Chinese paintings, oil paintings, woodblocks, sculptures, installations and new media. The show reflects young Chinese people's thoughts on contemporary art. The displayed paintings explore ink and water instead of focusing on traditional subjects, such as landscape and figures.
