Retail fuel prices to fall about 2%, says NDRC
China will cut the retail price of gasoline by 140 yuan ($22.80) per metric ton and that of diesel by 135 yuan from Wednesday, the National Development and Reform Commission announced on Tuesday. It is the fourth cut since July 22. At the retail level, the reduction is less than 2 percent. Since March last year, China has adjusted fuel prices every 10 working days, compared with the previous system that relied on a window of 22 days, to align them more with global levels.
