A family meal for Xi

Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon treated his Chinese guests to a family meal, which indicates mutual trust in diplomatic circles, during the visit of President Xi Jinping and first lady Peng Liyuan.

Traditional food such as zhuafan (fried rice with mutton and carrots), latiaozi (pulled noodles) and nang (baked flatbread) was served.

Rahmon was accompanied by three generations of his family to welcome Xi and personally placed a traditional robe of Tajikistan on Xi.
