Teenage killer escapes briefly

A teenager who was convicted of killing three students at a high school in Ohio scrambled over a fence to escape a state prison but was captured about six hours later hiding by a church, authorities said. T.J. Lane, 19, who escaped with two other inmates, was caught early on Friday about 100 meters from the prison by two Ohio Highway Patrol troopers. One of the other escapees was caught almost immediately after the Thursday night escape, and troopers apprehended the third man three hours after finding Lane.
