Kyrgyz leader hopes to form closer links

China and Kyrgyzstan are deepening their cooperation and interdependence, especially in economic fields along their borders in China's northwest Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, Kyrgyz Prime Minister Djoomart Otorbaev told China Daily.

Otorbaev was visiting Xinjiang to attend the fourth China-Eurasia Expo, which is being held from Monday through Saturday.

The expo has shown great value and is a significant opportunity for Kyrgyzstan and other Central Asian countries to form closer ties with one another, the prime minister said. Kyrgyzstan has participated in all three former expos, he added.
