China is to invite leading law experts from Europe to give lectures and offer training to lawyers and management personnel from national legal aid departments, according to the Ministry of Justice.
"To learn advanced management methods for legal aid and to grasp practical service skills, we will invite several celebrated law experts from European countries such as the UK, France and Finland to train the lawyers," said Sang Ning, deputy director of the ministry's legal aid center.
He said the practical skills training will mainly involve ways to communicate with litigants, providing them with professional legal consultations and carrying out dispute mediation to improve the service quality for legal aid.
