Teenage mom hurls baby to its death
A 19-year-old migrant worker in Shenzhen killed her newborn baby by throwing the child out of a sixth-floor window, Southern Metropolis Daily reported on Sunday. The woman, surnamed Wei, killed the baby at about 10 pm on Aug 22 because she did not know how to deal with the situation. Wei reportedly came to Shenzhen from her hometown in the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region last year and found a boyfriend there. After they broke up in February, Wei learned she was pregnant but did not tell anyone. A police investigation is ongoing.
