Chinese firm helps build Beijing Avenue in capital

A Chinese engineering firm is currently helping to construct Beijing Avenue in Ulan Bator.

The avenue changed its name from Youth Avenue to its current name in December 2009. Beijing Construction Engineering Group began remodeling the avenue in May after China reached an agreement with Mongolia to help renovate the street, which will feature an octagonal house and a traditional Chinese archway.
