Cangzhou in the southeast of Hebei province is trying to become the new economic growth pole of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, said local officials.

Famous for its brilliant martial arts and acrobatics down through history, in modern times it has topped all cities in Hebei in terms of economic growth for the past five consecutive years.
