Sixty-two percent of middle school students spend at least 6,000 yuan ($975) on trips during their summer vacations, while 76 percent of university students spend an average of less than 3,000 yuan, according to a survey of 2,864 middle school and university students, Beijing Youth Daily reported on Thursday.
