False police report leads to prosecution of 2 men

Two men were prosecuted on Tuesday on charges of making false accusations, Beijing Times reported on Wednesday. A man named Xu had demanded that his tenant, named Wang, vacate his rental house. Wang refused after a negotiation for compensation. In June, Xu and a friend named Qiao allegedly planted a pistol, which had some parts missing, in the house and reported to police that Wang had a pistol.
