Police: Man committed rape to get into prison

A man in Longyan is suspected of raping a 14-year-old girl last week because he could not bear life's pressures and wanted to be in prison, news website fjsen.com reported on Tuesday. The 28-year-old was detained on Sunday. In his confession to police, he said he'd had financial difficulties and had contemplated committing a crime to get into prison, where he thought he wouldn't have to worry about life. The man said he regrets his actions.
