457 Confucius Institutes
There are currently 457 of the nonprofit public institutions in 122 countries worldwide, according to a conference organized by the Confucius Institute Headquarters in Changchun, Jilin province, on Saturday. Confucius Institutes are affiliated with the Ministry of Education and aim to promote the Chinese language and culture.
