2009: Aluminum powder exploded in an abandoned factory that was being rented out as temporary housing in Danyang, Jiangsu province. Eleven people died and 20 were injured.
2010: Nineteen people died and 49 were injured in a massive dust explosion at Lihua Starch Co factory in Qinhuangdao, Hebei province. About 107 people were working at 4 pm when the explosion occurred.
2011: A dust explosion at a polishing workshop of Foxconn's Chengdu assembly factory, which housed an Apple iPad 2 assembly line, caused the deaths of three workers and injured 15.
